Kelly Holland & Rick Watson met in 1997 & began working together. These songs are the result of a recording session that took place at Jag studios in Raleigh. Rick Watson wrote the songs & played guitar. Kelly took on the role of producer with gentle guidance from Byron Mckay. On this session, Scotty Miller was on bass, which is cool because he is a guitar player by trade. He did a great job.We transferred the songs from tape to pro tools at osceola studios in Raleigh. Ian Schrier remixed the session. He did a fabulous job as well. Mike Krause provided his guitar wizardry for the solo on Walk Away. Jeff Dennis is assaulting the drumkit with his usual natural authourity.
