We are 4 kids in a surprisingly clean punk house. We book bands through Charm City Art Space and have a show or two a month in our house, mostly acoustic (out of respect to our awesome neighbors). Since we can't do more house shows and give back to our scene in that way, we figured we'd support diy touring bands in another way. Mostly, we have a lot of floor space and would love to share it with you! Bands, travelers, activists, bike tourers, and friends from afar, come visit us! We'll give you a rad place to stay, a kitten to pet (maybe), and maybe some food, or at least a kitchen to cook food in. we are all about the pancake breakfast.
ATTN BANDS: Unfortunately, we are cutting back on shows at our house for the fall cause we're all either travelling to the far corners of the earth or back in school full time. BUT we are still open for anyone who needs to crash for a night or two in a cozy, clean and friendly house. If we can't book a show for you please consider contacting any of the following venues they may be able to help as well: lo-fi social club , the metro gallery , the barclay house , the nerve center , charm city art space , load of fun gallery , joe squared , current gallery , talking head , and many more! Baltimore has a thriving music scene and there are plently of places to play. No matter what type of band you are, there's a place for you and you'll have a good chance at finding a show. With that said, definitely feel free to contact us for a place to crash afterwords!!
we have: 4 couches (one with a mattress that pulls out), spare beds occasionally, tons of floor space, a hammock on a balcony, a couch on the front porch (kids have slept there!), ample parking space for vans and trailers, wireless internet, a garden with fresh herbs and veggies (seasonally), a kitchen your welcome to cook in, rad friends, sneaky cats, zines and tons and tons of books.
