I haven't updated in a while, so i suppose now's a good time. Life is.. good (?). Things are a little strange these days. My wife and I are expecting our first baby. That's excellent. But, as it seems always happens with me, I don't seem to deserve good without bad. For those of you who don't speak with me or my family frequently, I have now spent the last 5 weeks trying to recover from Acute Pancreatitis. Basically, that means I had an incredibly bad inflammation of my Pancreas, which if untreated, or frequently recurring, could be a problem too big to deal with. But, these days, I'm trying to heal, although I'm currently dealing with a bit of a relapse so, things could be better. I'm finally home again, but i still can't stomach much food and I'm withering away to nothing. All I can offer is, Children, love your Pancreas. Treat it well and hope it nevers gets pissed at you.
As I mentioned, we will be having a child, though, so i think that's a little more fun to talk about. My wife is due in mid-February and we're both very excited. We don't know what we're having, but will find out in October. We can't wait. We get to hear the babies heart beat for the first time on Monday. How cool is that?
I don't really have anything else new going on in the world... Really, there isn't much time for doing much more than waiting for your child to be born and trying to make sure you stay alive to see it. Atleast not for some of us right now...
