A volte abbiamo bisogno di un segno,di un particolare stimolo che avvii una serie di eventi del tutto inaspettati. è proprio quello che è successo a Flo dopo un’illuminante chiacchierata con Massimo Camarca noto musicista e turnista italiano. Nascono cosi i The Flukes, un progetto che coinvolge alcuni dei migliori musicisti della scena torinese e ricrea quella magia e spensieratezza di un rock pop pieno di groove e arricchito da arrangiamenti eccentrici che rimangono ben impressi nella memoria dell’ascoltatore. La calda voce soul di Simona dona quella malizia in più che riporta alla memoria le migliori esperienze di Garbage, No Doubt . Registrazione e mixaggio del promo sono stati curati direttamente da M. Sometimes we need just a sign, a particular incitement that starts a chain of completely unexpected events. That’s what happened to Flo right after an enlightening chat with Massimo Camarca, a well known italian musician. That’s how are born “The Flukes”, a project that envolves some of the best musicians of Turin and that conveys that magic and thoughtlessness of a rock pop full of groove, enriched of eccentric arrangements that remain impressed in the memory of the listener. Simona’s warm soul voice gives that kind of malice which reminds of the best Garbage’s and No Doubt’s experiences. The demo recording has been taken care directly by M. Camarca.
