The Rights Of Women in Islam
Salam to all my muslim brothers and siters in Islam. Women in Islam are by many other people considered to be: opressed, weak, unable to make thier own decisions, etc.. Well, when an individual makes these claims at a muslim woman, ask them : why do you think this is true? And they say "Look at her clothing!". My brothers and sisters, explain to your friends, teachers, etc. that our hijab, our clothing is not opressing us. It is infact protecting us. A hijab is not just there to be there. Just like everything else in Islam- Hijab has a reason. Did you know that the majority of rapists according to many researches rape women who are dresses in something small. (for example a mini skirt? shorts, etc.) this is because then it is easy for the rapist to do his job. Rapists are also drawm towards women who reveal thier hair. This is because it is easy for a rapist to abuse the women by pulling her hair. And there are many other reasons the Hijab is a protection. So next time someone thinks you are opressed because of your hijab- tell them you are NOT. Tell them WHY. And I have a request for some of my muslim sisters that they may find offending(but i mean to offend no one). PLEASE sisters, if you wear the Hijaab only becuase you parens advise you too- don't complain about it!! Too many girls do that now. You need to defend your faith and beliefs rather then be against them. **Allah Bless you All**

Something terrible has once again leashed on the middle east. Pakistan's former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday after addressing a large gathering of her supporters. After the shot killed her, the killer blew himself up. Sadness and shock has gripped the nation of Pakistan. People are now acting very inhuman. I, as a Pakistani am shocked to see the reaction of people. Rather then uniting over a loss, we are hurting ourselves, and our own people. Let us all take one moment out of our day today. A moment of Quiet, a quick moment. Not to mourn over the loss, but to recognize the sadness of reality. Let us all realize that death can find us any time. Any where. let the fear of God rise in our hearts like never before. Let the love of brotherhood Come back to us beautifully. I take a moment and send a prayer to heaven, a whisper of my soul: O Allah! Ya Raheem, Ya Kareem! Keep all those i love safe and Let the brotherhood love of Islam return to the heart of all Muslims. *Ameen*

Kaffir (Non believer) in Islam
They(non muslims) conspire againt us(muslims) and i ask Allah to protect me from them(non muslims). But i pray even more to Allah to protect me form the bad people(muslims) among me.
Many people think that Islam is violent. What they refuse to see is how history of true muslims contradict that. By true muslims, i am talking about the prohet and the caliph that followed him.
When going to war with another nation, Prophet Mohammed will ALWAYS tell his followers to give the enemy three choices:
1) invite them to Islam, if they accept, ask them to move to the Islamic nation for protection
2) Ask them for jizyah(tax/ donation), if they agree, do not fight them.
3) if they agree to niether, ask Allah for help, and fight them.
Furthermore, when Islam came to Ansar, many people tried to convert thier children to Islam by force. On this occassion a beautiful verse was revealed:
"Let thier be no compulsion in religion"
The khalifahs used to order their military leaders to:
not kill women, children and elderly people, not cut down fruit trees, not to vandalize homes, not to wound sheeps or camels, not be trecherous or cowardly".
In the times of Prophet Mohammed and the khalifas, muslims would also preserve churches of the christians. In a letter Simeon, the archbshop of Rifardshir and leader of bishops of persia the Nestorian Patriach Geoff III worte:
"The Arabs to whom Allah has given power over all world, know how wealthy you are, for they live among you. In spite of this, they do not assail the chiristian creed. To the coontrary, they have sympathy with our religion, they venerate our priests and the saints of our lord, and they graciously donate to our churches and mmonasteries."

They ask for Miracles
salam to all my brothers and sisters.
All the non-muslims ask questions such as "why did Prophet Mohammed not perfrom any miracles?" and i find this question a very funny question. Today i would like to explain of the miracles of Prophet Mohammed.
ONE::: (2) Narrated Anas: It was the time for prayer, and those whose houses were near got up and went to their people (to perform ablution), and there remained some people (sitting). Then a painted stove pot (Mikhdab) containing water was brought to Allah's Apostles The pot was small, not broad enough for one to spread one's hand in; yet all the people performed ablution. (The sub narrator said, "We asked Anas, 'How many persons were you?' Anas replied 'We were eighty or more"). (It was one of the miracles of Allah's Apostle). is that not a miracle?
TWO:(4) Narrated Anas bin Malik: Two of the companions of the Prophet departed from him on a dark night and were led by two lights like lamps (going in front of them from Allah as a miracle) lighting the way in front of them, and when they parted, each of them was accompanied by one of these lights till he reached their (respective) houses.
(12) Narrated Anas: A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with the rain." The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday. Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, "We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice, "O Allah! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. Allah showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation
And his biggest miracle: (6) Narrated Anas: That the Meccan people requested Allah's Apostle to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the splitting of the moon.(surely that is a miracle, is it NOT?)

Salat(Prayer)
I am currently reading an amazing book by Shiek Ali Al-Tantawi (translated by Mounna Aal-Mana & Isa Lima) called "The spirit of prayer". It truely is a great book, and Inshallah it willl help me change the way i pray. Once I am done reading(later today) i will post the key points here! May Allah bless you all.
Basic Facts:
*Almost all of us that do pray, pray only using our tongue.
*Our mind is always wondering about other things (such as what happened at school, what will i wear tomorrow, how am i going to go to work today, etc.)
*The body of the prayer is present, but the soul is absent.
~~How to better our prayer~~
*When you hear the athan or go to the call for prayer think that you are going to a meeting with God and acknowledge that he is the king of man kind and all things that exist in this life and in the heavens and hell.
*Constantly KNOW that you are standing before Allah Almighty.
*KNow that Allah is aware of all things. *Allah dose not look at appearences but the person's soul and the intention of his prayer.
*Make sure to purify your heart of all bad.
*Imagine that all the worlds have come to an end, its that day, its judment day (quyameh) and you are standing before your lord.
*Imagine heaven and hell. Think and choose between good and bad. Know ALLAH is GREATER then anything that ever existed or will exist.
*Now raise your hands and say "Allahu akbar"

My Word
in the past couple of days i have seen many Anti-muslim websites. It hurt so much to see these people talk so indecently about Islam and Mohammed (P.B.U.H.). I would just like to tell al the anti-muslims out there, just relaxa bit, KAY? know ALL your facts before coming up with a false statement.
i have something to say to my muslim brothers and sisters as well!!!! so listen up! When viewing these Anti-Islam websites, I saw comments muslims had left, and it was disgrace and i bowed my head in shame. Considerring most of these sites were Christian, many peopel decide to curse at our beloved Prophet Jesus. i was shocked as well as deeply hurt. Please my brothersand sisters, don't do what the non-muslims do. Let them say what they want, cuz it dosen't matter. We know the right path is the one that leads to Allah and w should spread the word, but in a beautiful way!!! May Allah bless you all :D

Mohammed (may Allah send his peace and blessing upon him) was a pedophile?
when i heard that sentence, i was littlleraly blown away. MY prophet, OUR prophet mohammed was a PEDOPHILE? when i found out Mohammed married a 9 year old girl, i was shocked and my first reaction was rejection. i told myself it couldn't be true. Mohammed (PBBUH) would never ever do such a thing. So for days i played wiht my self .i was going crazy so i decided to google this up. And there it was "Mohammed (PBUH) married a 9 year old Aishah. i started doubting Mohamed and again i ask of Allah to forgive me. i needed to know ::WHY WOULD MY PROPHET MARRY A NINE YEAR OLD GIRL? and subhanallah Allah gave me the answer: nice and simple. Mohammed lived in a time 1400 years ago and Child brides as young as 8 were common in that period of time!!! also know that people only used to live to be 40-60 yrs old back in those days so it was common for women to be married at the age of 8-9. So to call Prophet Muhammad a pedophile for marrying a girl that was OFFERED TO HIM by her parents and was accepted by all of the people back then including the enemies of Islam, the pagans, is quite absurd. so my brothers and sisters, Allah guides us to the right path, never have doubt in him and our prophet (PBUH). and this is the end of the dicussion, to my non-muslim friends who would stilll like to argue:: Joseph, Mary's husband, was "90 years old" when he married 12 to 14-year old Mary! was he a pedophile as well?

The Hijab(head scarf)
The hijaab in Islam is a way to dress modestly. In the Quran women are simply told to dresss properly but in the sunnah of prophet Mohammed, it is said that women should show nothing but thier hands and face. Many people don't follow Prophet Mohammed's sunnah.
Non- muslim and sometimes muslim(ashamed of it) men think that the scarf is a disgusting thing. It covers up a girl's beauty, it covers up her sexy hair, etc. and you know what i would like to say to the men with such mentality? "Thank Allah for i am protected from you!" Many non-muslims look at a muslim girl with her scarf and think "poor her". My question to those people is "How can you say that?? ". I am a proud muslims hijabi and i don't need anyone thinking "poor her because she has to cover her hair". I don't need anyone's sympathy. and i don't believe i look beautifl without my scarf. you know why? Cause i know in my heart that this is how Allah wills it. This is what pleases Allah and is prophet.
So the hijab is:
*An act of obedience to Allah's will
*It is the sign of modesty
* it is a shield against the evil eyes of men

Music?
My salaam to all my brothers and sisters in Islam! All muslims in today's world argue over the very confusing matter of whether music is permitted in Islam or not. No, music is NOT permitted in Islam. Its as simple as that, deep down we all know that music is not permitted. Why? Because no matter how much we refuse it, we KNOW that music sters emotions in us. Which is bad! (bad emotions that lead to bad thoughts). Another reason is because music is not real, music is an immitation of an unrealistic life! and listening to music leads to unrealistic thoughts and conclusions.
