Born in Hamburg 23 years ago, Lina Rodrigues started singing in the early
age. At 10 she was soloist in an Opera. Being an actress as well, later, she
performed the role of "Orgando" in Haëndel's Amadigi's Opera while 15 in
Teatro de São João in Porto. By the time being she participated in other
Operas as "Carmen", "L'Elixir d'Amore" and "La Bohème".
At 19 Lina share's her Fado passion in RTP, in the Amália Rodrigues homage
at the Portuguese national TV channel RTP.
At the age of 20, she finishes her graduation in chant in the Conservatório
de Música do Porto.
Has an actress singer, she played the role of young Amália in the famous and
successful musical Amália and a couple of years ago she participated in
other musicals as "A Canção de Lisboa" and "Música no Coração".
Now-a-days she sings in the Lisbon's famous "Clube de Fado" and is touring
with Mário Pacheco, a remarkable Portuguese guitar player.
Lina Rodrigues is preparing her debut album to be released soon.
