Being a parent is the most rewarding, fulfilling, and single handedly the most confusing job I have ever done.....I wouldn't quit it for anything.

I am grateful for the people that changed my life for the better. When my world as I knew it crashed around me....I picked up the pieces and made a better "me". The reason for losing a loved one will never be known, yet I do know this...when you hit bottom all you can do is go up. Either that or just wither your life away...I chose to live. This is just a little part of that story...and a memorial to my baby sister who was born when I was 13 years old. Her presence in my life taught me what unconditional love was, among many other things. She passed on to the other side when she was just 21 years old. It was a tragedy that touched us all. Her death also taught me many lessons. Most importantly to be a better parent, friend,and to take nothing for granted. I now try to be the best I can on a daily basis in all that I do.
