Completing its four member lineup in spring of 2006, The Shattering Moon is a young, progressive rock band growing outward from Rochester, NY. Over the past four years, the group has gone through members building up their diverse, yet catchy sound, comparable to very few other bands. After much hard work finalizing the bands dedicated lineup, The Shattering Moon has appeared for the first time among the Rochester music scene. The band cannot be pinned to any one particular style of music, mixing alternative riffs, progressions and rhythms with metal intensity and catchy pop melodies.
