Doug Steele is now based in Melbourne.
California-Native, Doug Steele is the voice of Austereo's Hot 30 Countdown . Broadcasting nationally in Australia, alongside The Labrat & Alexis. (You might remember Doug's prior work with Kyle & Jackie O on the same program).
Doug is a Voiceover Pro, and spent four years with Australia's Triple M Network based in Melbourne.
During this time on the M's, Doug hosted a variety of programs including Saturday Night Steele & The Backpackers and was integral in network programs such as Maroon and Milly , Radio Graffiti and Planet Rock with regular guest appearances on the station's Breakfast Show The Morning Madhouse .
Music
Doug has been playing guitar for 16 years, has won countless guitar competitions in the US, has played in Ozzy Osborne & Van Halen cover bands, and is currently endorsed by Ibanez and Belman .
His band in the United States, Sinister Sam , has supported countless international acts, like Forbidden, Vio-Lence, Death Angel, M.I.R.V., Primus, and countless other acts.
Doug's current studio project, Flatstick has received airplay on various radio stations around Australia.
