Dvyneone

About Me

A native Chicagoan, following the beat of her own drummer, singer/songwriter Leah “Dvyneone” Young entertains and transports audiences with her Songs of Love & Inspiration. Imagine the sound of an angel fused with that of a siren. When you experience Dvyneone’s warm, rich tone you will be sanctified.
Granddaughter and daughter respectively of late Chicago Bluesmen Mighty Joe Young & Mighty Joe Young, Jr., music is in her blood. Dvyneone has performed for audiences in Manila, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and in the Caribbean serving up a delectable blend of everything from the blues to the spiritual in a signature dish as only she can.
Dvyneone’s voice and range meld lyric and melody into a sacred prayer influenced by many musical genres yet defined only by the lady herself. Her enriching sound fuses spirit with a touch of class to every song she sings. Her repertoire features her signature interpretations of songs like Bobby Hebb's "Sunny", "On a Clear Day" and EWF's "Head to the Sky".
Welcome to the temple of my music. I am passionate about music, particularly singing. A mezzo-soprano with a three octave range, I enjoy singing in various styles with a penchant for jazz, acoustic/folk but above all smooth.
