Tom Piper & Elroy have hit the heights with their recent club, chart, radio, video hit “Point’n’Clap” and their fledgling but flourishing record label bambamMuzik. However, you may have heard of Tom Piper from his tunes signed to Hussle/MOSA with Tommy Trash (“Fuck To The Bass” / “One More”), maybe you remember Elroy from his hit remix of “Sunshine Day”, perhaps you followed breaks and have heard Piper & Elroy’s 3 UK Breaks chart hit “Dub Downunder”. Sydney-siders would be well aware of them having seen their names on the flyers and posters of some of the biggest clubs and events around.
UPSIZED serves up a feast of tunes that their labels are releasing now and in the future. Dancefloors are used to Tom Piper & Elroy delivering a thorough club sound from grimey fidget house with teeth eating basslines to big proggy synths over a percussive heaven. A bambamMuzik DJ set and live show is full of energy as the young veterans rip out exclusive bambam treats, worldwide anthems and underground creepers. Seamless mixing, unique track selection, samples, cuts, DJ tricks and endless onstage antics always leave crowds fulfilled. More than just a “DJ Set”, a bambamMuzik set often includes performances by VJ Spook (bambamVisuals) and Slice MC (the voice of bambam). If the lads aren’t performing with their VJ, they have a bank of visuals from Spook to play, and if Slice is out of action they have more vocal stabs and effects that can fit in a set.
