This independant alternative/rock 5-piece has JUST released their Ep “Lost in song†to rave reviews and record sales in the high hundreds. 3 weeks into the release they were selected as
“Australian Myspace Artist of the Week†which had them featured on the main myspace home page, and also the Australian section of myspace. It resulted in over 4000 hits in 3 days, and a total of 20,000 to date.
They’re selling to all parts of Australia, and internationally as well.
Taking influence from the likes of Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Coldplay and Snow Patrol, Jolan evoke emotion in listeners with their ambient soundscape and sometimes haunting imagery.
Working with Producer Chris Townend (The Presets, Lior) and recording at BJB studios Sydney & Mainstreet Studios, Jolans Ep showcases a band being themselves, nothing more, and nothing less....
