Oh! Icky Peggicorn

My tongue is the only muscle in my body that works harder than my heart.

About Me

Icky Peggicorn (ih·kee pey·gih·corn)
n.
1. a mythical creature resembling a girl, with a single game controller and/or handheld in her hands: often symbolic of radness or being totally awesome.
PLEASE NOTE: If you scroll down, you'll see that my profile says I am on Myspace for "friends." It does not say "dating." So save us both some time and don't fucking message me just to flirt with me, okay? Thank you. :)
I love spontaneity, true friends that stick with you, wasting my life away on the internet, cleaning my house, going for walks, working out, playing video games, listening to awesome music, dancing around, singing in the shower, fun socks, Converses, surprises, letting go of my inhibitions, drinking alcohol, sitting around with my friends and talking for hours, daydreaming, making plans for my future, reading, drinking tea, cooking, eggs, getting to know myself better, bowling, blue LEDs, stuff that glows in the dark, Pandora radio, finding new bands/songs to obsess over, taking quizzes, blogging, laughing a lot, my couch, watching good movies, songs that make me move, eating delicious foodstuffs, candy, watches/clocks that you can't read unless you know the secret to them, art, people who make an effort to keep in touch, getting cards/messages/letters/presents, and meeting awesome new people! I also love this town.
I try to live my life along the guidelines of this poem. It has all the advice you will ever need for any situation you could possibly find yourself in. Read it. Remember it. And put it to good use.
"Desiderata"
by Max Ehrmann
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
"Always be yourself, because the people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind."
