KING DONJUAN (which Donjuan is his real name) is a Hip Hop Rap Veteran from the South Side of Chicago. Raised for most of his teenage and adult life in the Chicago Housing Authority B.K.A Altgeld Gardens , he has experienced the good and the bad of the streets. He is known in Hip Hop as a stylist because it’s not just what he says, it’s also how he says it. He is considered to be a full package artist because of his flavorable rap skills, his song writing ability, his energetic stage performances, and his off stage humble and bold kerizmatic attitude. He has lived a life of homelessness, poverty, gangbanging, drug dealing, drug usage, murders and assaults and all the other dark tales that the streets can bring, but God walked him through it all. He wants to tell other young people that they are kings and Queens of this world and can overcome all those obstacles.He has well over 100 performances under his belt and has promoted many shows as well. He is a very talented writer , and with his style, he is one of a kind. His music has substance and is about trying to send some kind of message to the world. He is very talented with hooks and can write to any genre of music be it Hip Hop, Reggae, Pop, House, R&B, or Rock. He also knows how to rock the crowd. King Donjuan says his most important contribution to the Hip Hop world is balance in his music. He feels that if you can rap about war, you can rap about peace, if you can rap about money, you can rap about poverty, if you can rap about getting high, than you can rap about not getting high. His music is for Hip Hop lovers but it is street rooted also. He wants everyone to know that his music is more than just a hot beat with a catchy hook line.
