About Me

One wife and four children means I am eternally busy and have little to no time to remember who I am, ahhh the joys of parenthood. Would we have it any other way?

For me, when I have the time, I like to spend my time at least vaguely productive. I enjoy writing, which is mainly poetry but I have also written short stories and am currently working on my first novel, scary. I also like to play acoustic guitar and sing, albeit not x-factor material, lol.

I read as much as I can as my real escape in life is through imagination. Thankfully when mine fails me there are so many great authors out there who help me to do just that, escape. Being immersed in a novel, fictional of course, is my chance to escape the harsh realities of life. I have no one requiring anything of me, no responsibilities and no need to work hard at putting on a face for the rest of humanity.

My only regular release from daily life is poker. When all within the house are sleeping I can lock myself in the office with a decent smoke and test my skills against fellow pokerites around the world. Thank the lord for no-limit holdem.
