"WHAT ONE THING WOULD YOU DARE DREAM IF YOU KNEW YOU COULD NOT FAIL?" -Brian Tracy
Vincent Alexander Chiofalo (Nice Day) has been writing songs since he was eight years old. He has performed in many bands, the first of which was "Underdog" a Pop Punk band in 1997 which he fronted on guitar and lead vocals at the age of Seventeen with Jared Valencia and Chris Belcher.
In 2001 he had his first recording experience when Daniel Wanocot (Finch) recorded "bi-polar" in his home studio in Temecula, CA. Three songs performed on his acoustic guitar titled See Through You , What Can I Say & Waiting For . The songs were released underground into the local scene as Vincents debut recordings. In 2003 and 2004 Vincent continued to record with Daniel Wanocot, this time in a upgraded home studio. Together, with the participation of local bass and drummer Nic & Julian Rodriguez, they produced Honestly Child , Angel , 24 Hours , Billions Of People , What Did You Say? , Friends , and Animals .
In 2004 Vincent made his first attempt at forming a new band. Thomas Scriven (Music), Justin Shultz (The Chemistry), and George Linev, joined Vincent and began writing and recording songs such as We Are All The Same , Hold On and Dreams . In June of 2005 the group moved to a rented house in Twin Falls Idaho for 5 weeks with the intention of writing and recording a full length demo cd. It was at this time that Vincent decided to call the band "Nice Day". The group split up by the end of the 5 weeks and 3 of the 4 members moved back to Murrieta, CA. Vincent and Justin continued to study song writing together. In 2005 They wrote and recorded the following songs: Take Time To Think About It , Rumors Of War , Dead Anthem , and others.
In 2006, Vincent went solo with Nice Day. He began performing his avant garde songs and music alone on his acoustic guitar at local coffee shops with the intention of finding permanent members for the rock trio. In February 2007 Jeremiah Hays took the position drummer and Tim Rather () took position as Bass player. Nice Day performed for the first time at Hogue Barmichaels in New Port Beach on Feb 7th. This group recorded Dear Mr. President live in Jeremiah's garage. Tim quit the band after a few months but Vincent and Jeremiah continued to perform and record throughout South CA with various bass players until August of 2007 when Ian Haerr relocated from Irvine, CA to Murrieta to fill the position as permanent bass player. The band released a six-song self produced LP "Nice Day" featuring Rumors of War , Suddenly The Whole World Has Changed , No More Lies , Johnny Green , Terrible Disease , and Jealousy .
On October 18th 2008 Ian Haerr quit the band and a on Oct 25th, Vincent decided to go solo with Nice Day once again. Vincent is currently producing all new songs and music for a new release which will include many of the old Nice Day recordings as well as the new ones.
