Myspace Profile Tracker World Visitor Map2006. Rome. Two nice guys from the Suburbia of the city decide to create a astonishing and stunning new band. Who those two guys are is still unknown to us, we are talking about OUR band, The Acid Paper. Daniele Nero on the guitar and the voice, Sergio Di Giangregorio who plays the guitar very well and me, Lorenzo Piacenti who bothers everyone with his noisy drum beats. After preliminary arrangements during winter 2005-2006, Daniele and Sergio who were trying to associate all their ideas pensively finally found their concrete source of skins&cymbals in Lorenzo. Initially Daniele used to record his brain-waves at home, and some of his really good stuff can be found in this period of the A.P.'s life, songs like Places, Good Intentions or Alone and Dry (still unreleased), while Sergio and Lorenzo making the best of a claustrophobic cellar played every morning during the balmy summer of 06, praticing and improvising what's now a fundamental part in the AP's musical style. The fall brings them to worry about their futures, but not to neglect their band, always searching for the missing part of what has always been thought of as a quintet: the BASS and the VOICE. "Most of the musicians who entered with us into a music room came out very swiftlty, and the remaining part quitted almost faster". Too bad, but that's not the problem. There were ideas, there was passion (and there still are now) so they moved on in a stoic way, and during the winter-spring of 06-07 the process that eventually led to the construction of an own box near the home of the musicians began. The summer of '07, full of important events is not much related to the band's fate, but winter-fall is. They play 3 times a week t, and they play well. They create their own sound, and during these 2 seasons (as well as now) Coherence, Panic Room, Shed My Skin, Cut And Run and many untitled pieces (all of these songs were already in the head of the two main composers, Daniele and Sergio) are arranged. Thanx to the collaboration of two nice guys from the same area of Rome, the band is working on its first demo, that should come out very soon. STAY TUNED!
