Say's life always been far from boring. His musical trip began when he was 6 years old, when, thanx to his father, he started listening to artists such as Public Enemy, De la Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Kris Kross, Snoop Dogg, Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince or NWA. Also thanx to his father, whom he saw “when it was possible”, as he says, because he worked in the music business and spent his life from the US to Mexico to Spain, Say met a lot of great artists such as Los Ronaldos (even recording on the album ‘Idiota'), Charly García, Andrés Calamaro, Enrique Bunbury, Los Lunes, Ketama, Fabiana Cantilo, Cañaman, Mon Dada (recording on the track by the same name), among a long list of others.
One thing that makes Say really proud about himself is that having his father always in a different country made it hard for them to stay in touch, so that made Say work on his music alone without any help, wich was better because that made him what he is today.
Say started getting noticed in 2001, after spending a season in Miami, being in 2002 one of the most active MCs in Argentina, and by 2003, same year he dropped Andie's demo, wich had over 80,000 internet downloads, and the Say Productions Mixtape, album produced by him with MCs from the US rapping over his beats, he was one of the most respected producers in the scene.
In 2004 he produced a lot of artists from all around the world, leaving the country by the end of the year for Madrid, Spain. He came back on 2005 and he dedicated the year to work on his debut album, Samurai Zen.Say, and produce other artists, as usual.
In May 2006, PHHAT, independent record label created by Say, released Samurai Zen.Say, his debut album, produced, recorded and “everything” by Say with only 20 years old at his own studio.
This album brought a new sound to the Argentinean scene and put Say on the spotlight as an MC and as a producer, and this was confirmed when he won at Hip Hop Argento's “Best of 2006” awards, after a long voting period, the album and producer of the year awards, being this more than important because it was voted by the public.
This record has a variety of sounds, going from G-Funk to Crunk, R&B, Dancehall, or even some hard bangin' New York style beats. Also, he teamed up with a list of talented artists from all around the world, such Topo, Gera & Buyer of Apolo 11 (Raptores Records, Argentina), Andie (PHHAT, Arg), D-Shon (Sindicato Parlamento, Miami-Colombia), Christian Crisis (España), Noty Klein (Arg), Mic (38quenojuega, Ecuador), Lenny Diko (Up In Your Basement, Canada), Lepht B (USA), Antologik (Francia), Brutha Blakk (USA) and Raffa (Arg), and he also shoot a video for Quien es Quien, the first single wich had heavy rotation on TV (mainly on Much Music).

This album moved Argentinean Hip Hop a step forward, and it marked a before and after production wise, showing that you can make real music and still be respected in the underground scene.
By 2006, Say joined forces with Frost, former member of Sindicato Argentino del Hip Hop, with whom he released two albums thru Universal Music/Machete, which led to a Grammy award in 2001 for Latin Hip Hop album of the year (with 2 nominations, and another one in the US Grammys), 10 videos, tours all over the world (USA, Latin America & Europe), all this made him the most respected MC in Argentina and one of the most important rappers in the Latin scene.
Say is in charge of the production and recording of Frost's album in PHHAT studios. This album has created a lot of expectation on the Hip Hop scene.
Also, this year Say got a proposition from KSK Radio (Kosiuko's radio), one of the most important radios in the country, to have his own radio show. Since august of 2006 every Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 Hs (Argentinean time) you can hear his show A.K.A. Say on 101.9 fm or you can hear it online at www.kskradio.net . Quickly his show became one of the most important Hip Hop shows on the radio, being the only one which gives good space for Spanish speaking artists, playing songs but also having artists as guests regularly. Towards the end of the year, A.K.A. Say was voted as the radio show of the year at Hip Hop Argento's 2006 awards.
Leaving a mark in Hip Hop being an independent artist is not easy. Having the media looking for you and promoting your work it's even harder. But, for some kind of reason, this is not what's happening with Say. TV appareances (Much Music, Discovery Channel, TVN Chile, TVE España), radios (X4 & KSK, principally, among others from Argentina and all around the world, Spain being one of the hot spots), magazines and newspapers (Clarin, Hip Hop Nation, TXT, La Nacion, Pagina 12), and if all this wasn't enough, being part of the most important music festivals on the country (Pepsi Music, Creamfields, BUE Festival), without even mentioning the Hip Hop events, show that Say is in the first line of Latin Hip Hop and that it's only a matter of time for all the world to bounce to his music.
