I'm 48 years old,married and have 2 kids. A boy, 16 and a girl,13. My family also has a weiner dog named Patrick, who seems to think that I am his real mother.(Go figure, it might be because I baby him all the time??) I have been a huge Elton fan since I was about 12 years old.(Wow, that long ago??)I have seen Elton numerous times and have had a few opportunities to be smack up against the stage in front of him. The best time was on October 6,2006 at Pittsburgh's Mellon Arena. I was very lucky that night because when Elton started to play Levon, people went up to the stage to stand. Me being in the 5th row, I just had to rush up there too. I had my Elton John piano scarf with me that evening just in case I would have a chance for an autograph. Needless to say when Elton started signing people's stuff, he took my scarf from my hands and proceeded to try to sign it. It became difficult for him to do so he took it to his piano, signed the back of it and then laid it across his piano. His smile that he beamed at me is burned in my memory forever! Elton then returned my scarf to me and smiled again."Thank you, Elton" was all that I could get out of my mouth. That was my special moment with Sir Elton John.
