My Faith?
You continue to evade countless mountains to challenge my beliefs.
The Beliefs that I grew up on. You continue to use loaded words out of context to see if I crack under the thoughts of your wisdom.
I haven’t done any wrong to you have I?
What is the meaning of our long quarrel?
Our values are the same.
But in this cruel reality of life
We are different in many ways.
I stand before you not to challenge you but to talk with you.
Yet you attack me as if I were a cat amongst dogs.
You single me out as if I were a particle of dust on a clean ledge.
But why?
We believe in the same man.
The same savior.
The same transfigured celestial being.
We are the same if you think about it.
We have slightly different views.
But we are the same.
You may not want to accept it.
But you and I are alike
We are one, no matter how hard you try to deny it.
You and I are as united as a herd of animals.
We are united like the light of the earth.
We are as one as the body.
Our paths are cut in different ways.
But in the end we will be in the same place of happiness.
My faith was challenged by you sir, but it wasn’t for one moment, questioned.
