Sean's Sis

On June 28th, 2006, my best friend, Sean Thomas, lost his life. My darling friend was murdered here in Riverside. This is all the newspapers revealed about him. But, for those of us who were blessed enough to have known him, he was the most amazing person to ever grace earth. Not only is Sean my best friend, but he is also my beloved brother, my only other sibling.It has been almost three years since his passing, yet the pain has not diminished to the smallest degree. Every day is a struggle to wake from sleep and drag myself out of bed. However, I am so thankful to have someone so special in my life to miss. Sean was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. His friends are my friends, and mine his. We rarely fought. He would interrogate any boy I brought over and he had my back whether I was right or wrong. He is my big, yet younger brother and we share an unconditional love for one another.The thing I miss most about my darling Sean is our talks on the balcony. I miss his honesty an support. However, he has left me in good company. His friends have become brothers to me (I have picked up a sister along the way too). They have all been so necessary in the healing process."Sean, you picked some amazing Angels to watch over me. They take good care of me. Thank you for that.
