A little about me. I really hate these things......but here you go. My name, if you don't know it already, is Amber. Few of you know this but some may remember me as Diane....my middle name. Been a very long time since going by that name. I prefer Amber. I love the name Diane, it thinks it's quite pretty and regret not leaving the family name with my own little girl. The name Amber grew on me and I can't imagine being called any other name. I've been in GP all of my life and I have no beef about it at all. I know a lot of people who couldn't wait to leave GP but I like it and intend to stay here until life takes me somewhere that's even better.
I'm currently starting back to school on a part time basis. I've been taking a 2 1/2 yr break. My major is Criminal Justice and my long term goal is to go to law school.
I'm a single mother of 2 children a boy and girl. I live each day for them. I thank God everyday for my children.
In my spare time I like to watch chick flicks. I'm a sucker for chick flicks and Disney movies including High School Musical. I enjoy watching the Disney channel and often find myself watching shows that my teenage step daughters watch. What can I say, I'm a kid at heart.
I also have found myself hooked on the show First 48 hours. It comes A&E. I can watch 3 or 4 shows back to back, maybe more.
I don't pick up a book to read often b/c if it's one that I'm really into I can't put it down!!!
I'm singer and perhaps one day a songwriter. YAH RIGHT! No really, I enjoy singing and not half bad at it if I do say so myself. J/K. I enjoy a variety of music but can not stand degrading lyrics at all. I can't believe people make millions off of crap like that! It disgusts me!
I listen to Kidd Kraddick in the morning EVERY MORNING and have been doing that for as long as I can remember UNLESS I have a class at that time. I use to sneak my ear buds in school, when I was in HS, just to listen to the show. I've never been to the studio but one day I want to.
I hate waking up early. I hit the snooze till I can't hit it anymore w/o being late to work. I love to take naps. Sunday is my day to sleep. I go to church, come home have lunch sleep for 3 or 4 hours and then get up and go to church for the evening function.
I love my friends and would do anything for them. I'm a good friend and I'm sure all of my friends can attest to that.
I love my sisters and my brother and wish I had more time to spend with them.
I love gadgets and gizmos.....I talke on the phone a lot. Not really a good thing but it could be worse. :-)
Well I doubt anyone has read all of this but there you go! There are some things you can know about me. There's plenty more but that's all I got for now. "How'd ya like that?"
