Roller Derby, leaving things working better than when I arrived, music that combines elements that shouldn't work together but somehow does (Dread Zeppelin, Richard Cheese, Tater Totz), feigned stupidity, Cosmic Encounter (gotta find some weirdos to play a tweaked version with flares).
I don't really have much in the way of heroes. I got to meet most of what would have been my heroes quite some time ago. Some were very nice people (Jim Carroll, Jonathan Richman, Milo Aukerman, the guys from Fugazi), others less so or well, just plain less impressive than I'd have anticipated.
