Adam N has been in the music scene since 1999. His inspiration to become a DJ began the night he had the opportunity to observe the DJ skills of an epic DJ. Watching the reaction of the crowd and their appreciation for music is what made him want to express himself the same way through music. Weeks later, he purchased his first set of Technics and dedicated his time and energy to teaching himself how to mix records. Experimenting with Hard House as his first genre, quickly evolved to all genres of House. His passion for music was incorporated in his mixing styles along with the influences of Steve Lawler, John Digweed, DJ Dan, Stephen Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, and Eric Prydz.
He first started playing out in Tijuana, Mexico and became a resident DJ at Club Safari's. By 2002, he decided to go to recording school in Hollywood to learn how to record sound and music. While living in Hollywood, he worked for Eventvibe and had the opportunity to promote in the L.A. scene, which gave him the opportunity to meet many epic DJs and music producers.
After graduating as a Recording Sound Engineer, he moved back to San Diego and became a resident DJ at many clubs, such as The Karma Lounge, Deco's, Thirty-Two Bar Lounge and The Blvd. Also, had the opportunity to play out at many different clubs in San Diego. And was a participant in the "DJ of the Year" contest in 2004.
By 2005, he became an International DJ by getting requests to play at many clubs/events in Cabo San Lucas, particularly at the world-famous Nikki Beach.
Upon discovering that his true passion for music wasn't necessarily simply behind the decks, but also in the production of music. Adam decided to take his time away from playing out at the clubs and focus on producing his own music. His style of music has evolved to more minimal, dirty-tech, with dirty/sexy beats.
Adam is currently taking music classes from Berkeley School of Music. He has become proficient on his music production by using Ableton. He will like to complete a few more tracks and start playing at out at the clubs again this year. Also in 2010, he will be launching his record label "The Missing Link Recordings."
If you would like to request a copy of Adam's most recent CDs: "Lesson 1", "Stolen Sunset", or "The Empire" please send a message, and we will mail them to you. And for any booking request, you can also send a message.Send me your track
