About Me

38, Male, Native San Franciscan, Irish-American Descent. Born and Raised in the Excelsior District, San Francisco. Former Co-Chair / Chair of the SF St. Patrick's Day Parade. Chair / Founder of a 4000+ music festival at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, McLaren Park - San Francisco. Recently started booking shows and events on a regular basis. Check www.TomMurphyPresents.com consistently for more updates on events and other happenings. Graduate from SFSU with a degree in Broadcasting and Communications. Specialized in Musical Video and General Event production. Things to note: 1st Video Produced and Directed ended up on National TV. In 2007, after re-developing the event for almost 5 years (pro bono) from 2003 - 2007 as chair, co-chair and Vice President of the United Irish Societies, I was proud to see the SF St. Patrick's Day Parade have a record attendance. It had been 20 plus years since the event saw an estimated attendance of 250,000 plus. A lot of dedicated helped out in order to make that development happen. The event is still being presented by the United Irish Societies and is currently produced by SRES productions. Currently in the development phases of a few events/projects and looking forward to getting TomMurphyPresents.com up and running. On a personal level, I enjoy sports, music, film, cultural activities / events, putting on events, and, most of all, seeing those around me -friends / love ones - Succeed.
