MyGen Profile GeneratorThis is DX7 Electropop. A Jose MarÃa Bará electronic project. He is influenced by all the 80's synth musicians. Bands like Depeche Mode, Wolfsheim, Erasure, etc are some of his references when composing. Started playing keyboards in 1982 when his parents bought him a Casiotone VL-1 (VL-TONE). That was the beguinning. In 1984 a Casiotone MT-70 gives him one step beyond. Two years later, he plays as keyboardist of a Rock Band with only 14 years old. Casiotone MT is played thru an Ibanez guitar pedal processor. That year his band wins a local contest. At this moment, he focused his attention at everything with keys and controls. In 1986 he gets a Yamaha DX27 S. Altough some disappointed with its raw sound, he starts to programming it until he reachs some interesting sounds. From then..., to these days. Currently he has a Yamaha DX27S, Yamaha DX7, Yamaha DX7 II FD, KORG POLY 800, Roland JX-8P, Roland D10 + PG10, Casio CZ1000, Roland JP8000. Akai S3000XL with internal HD, and a Commodore C64 w/ Prophet64. Also, an E-MU Emax. He records on Pro Tools system @ his personal studio called "Polonium Studios". If you like synths, specially vintage ones, you have a friend.
