Jamal Chafai is a Moroccan oudplayer who was born in Marrakech, he got his bachelor degree in English linguistics. He loved music since he was a child, and since that period of time he discovered his desire towards Oud the instrument he likes.
He has been affected by many eastern and turkish oudplayers such as Said chraibi, Munir bachir, Jamil bachir, Naseer chamma, Yurdal tokcan, Marciel khalifa and others.
He developped his style in a modern way, trying to mix a diffirent cultures and styles to creat that kind of communication, but keeping the moroccan character, color and identity. He composes photographic music for plays and sheets for oud as well.
He commend about music saying: How come every song is about love? Really, it's true and, even if they aren't, we hear them that way.
Are musicians the most passionate people in the world? Do rock stars fall in and out of love, and get their hearts broken, and then fall back in love again at a faster rate than the rest of us? If music is the ideal medium to express love, and with that I also mean heartbreak, then where does that leave visual artists? I was having trouble thinking of examples of contemporary artists who deal primarily with love and heartbreak in their work.
Maybe so few artists blatantly depict their romantic relationships because there is a level of seriousness today's artist tries to achieve and there is a sense of cliché attached to any discussion of love. With that in mind, I put an open grand question-mark.. !!!
To sum up, i think music in it self is healing. it's an explosive expression of humanity, and it's something we are all touched by. so no matter what culture we are from, everyone loves MuSiC...(^_^)
I THINK MUSIC IN IT SELF IS HEALING
IT S AN EXPLOSIVE EXPRESSION OF HUMANITY
IT S SOMETHING WE ARE ALL TOUCHED BY
NO MATTER WHAT CULTURE WE ARE FROM EVERYONE LOVES MUSIC
Those are some pictures which i took in diffirent places .
