Bronz Title Foure Biography
Bronz Title Foure, featuring Zach Davi (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Jordan Funk (Lead Guitar), Jillian Funk (Bass and Vocals), and John Davi (Drums) is a very young band, but talented band. The oldest person in the band is Jordan and he is 17. So needless to say they are very young, but they are very good too.
Bronz Title Foure started approximatly 4 years ago with Jordan and John deciding that they wanted to try something new! What really sparked their interest was John's older brothers band Penchant. Penchant was a rock band that was very popular around Hudson, New York and had a huge fan base. The members consisted of Tony Bucci, Josh Freid, Adam Garrison, Pete Bruno, and Andrew Morretti. What would happen was John and Jordan would go down to his basement and watch and listen to Penchant and how they created their songs and how their band chemistry was so great.
Being so inspired by Penchant, John began to play drums on his brothers kit, and in school. Jordan then began to take guitar lessons at Chathams music store Musica from Richie Hallenback, a great guitar player. After for practicing for about 1 year with some basic drumming and basic guitar riffs, John and Jordan decided that they needed to get a singer. So John and Jordan decided that they wanted Jordan's sister Jillian to sing for them. So as they practiced more and more, and Jordan and John got better at their instruments, they created their first song entitled "Cold Pizza". After they created their first song, they were kind of stuck on what to do next, so Jordan asked Penchants guitar player Josh Freid if he could show him some basic punk riffs to help him create better songs. John then began to play along side his brother Andrew and he would show him cool beats and fills from +44, Blink 182, and the Transplants drummer Travis Barker.
So after about 2 years playing together, they decided to add another guitar player, and John's other brother Zach was interested so Jordan began to show him some simple chord progressions and punk riffs. So when adding Zach and as he got better they began work on a new song entitled "Untitled," but as they went on they decided that it wasn't sounding quite right so they asked Jillian if she would be interested in playing bass and start sharing the vocal spot with guitar play Zach. So finally after practicing and devoting so much time, they finally finished 3 songs and booked their first gig on May 20th 2005 at Chatham Memoria Center in...well...Chatham.
So Bronz Title Foure has now been around for about 5 years or so, and are now ready to begin a new journey. They recently have played at their school event known as the Ichabod Crane Dance - O - Thon. This boosted their popularity quite a bit in their school. Now Bronz Title Foure is looking to record a new demo in July with Tim Lynch and The Recording Company. When done, demo's will be available to anyone anywhere for probably $3-$5. Also they are in the process of getting t-shirts made and sold to any individual who wishes to purchase one. Designs for t-shirts will be up soon. We would like to thank the community for coming out to shows.
