About Me
WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!
here you go...................
In other, fatter news:Chicago's Quadraphonics crew have been treading the thin line between guerilla
artform and blatant disregard for federal communications laws with their recent string of pirate radio broadcasts.
What many local law enforcement officials have claimed to be
"an unignorable menace to the ears and minds of those listening to
Chicago easy listening radio stations", Quadraphonics refused comment but
instead managed to take over ALL police radio frequencies in a well calculated response last month, broadcasting a hip hop remix of the Bobby Fuller's "I Fought the Law" mashed together with the PIG verse from "Old McDonald" ("...an OINK OINK HERE...") on repeat for 72 straight hours.
Having personally called every Chicagoan and asking for a peaceful weekend on TMobile's free nights and weekends, no crimes were committed while the prank took shape, much to the shock of the CPD and local government employees.
By intercepting the powered signals of Chicago's many erect radio
transmission towers and 'quadradoodling' the airwaves into diggable
and danceable jamjammies - the Quadraphonics have illegally
started an audible revolution, dismissing complaints from local officials as "knickers in a bunch" rather than the tangible and punishable realities of potential legal action.
It's this smug, yet positively-Chicago attitude that has given one specific
illegal broadcast from the Quadraphonics never-before-seen
exposure worldwide. Seemingly inspiring hackers and bootleggers alike, the Qphans
around the globe have spread one individual broadcast recording at an impressive rate, being downloaded, shared and burned at over 15 copies an hour. Crashing servers on one side of the country
while attracting millions of clicks on hundreds of blog sites on the other, the mention of "Qphonic Indecency" on the Bill O'Reilly Show and Star Jones's exclamation of "QPhonicular RadioSlaughter" on The View - the Quadraphonic mystery is gradually unfolding for all those "not in the know."
Do the math; you'll discover that this QPhonicast will more than likely wind up
on your PC, iPod or car stereo faster than most people with internet access saw the Paris Hilton sex tape. Chances are, you'll reach a state of arousal far surpassing your initial response upon finally seeing Ms.
Hilton in the nude.
Qphonic DJ's MadadaM and Gengiswon have put together an aural assault on the ears and rears of listeners all over the planet,
but it's the Chicago release that will really make an impression on the global music scene. Due to its pirated-roots, the QPhonics may attend the event,
but their identities will remain hidden from the many federal agents already stewing about in anticipation of catching these radio-piercing banditos.
The artists compiled onto this worldwide musical ejaculation, are experiencing
attention on a much more visceral level than what DangerMouse, Jay-z and The Beatles experienced with the Grey Album.
With shots from Kanye West, 2Mex, J-Live, Das Efx, Oktober, Longshot, Profound, Diverse, the Perceptionists, Ohmega Watts, OneBeLo, All Natural, Bonobo, Mass Hysteria, Dynamic Vibrations, Joe Fixx, Outerlimitz, Apoc,
Anacron and more - the Chicago release of such an intercontinentally influential pirate radio broadcast will not only give the Chi its shine, but the entire underground industry will reap the benefits of the illegal actions of the Qphonics wax handlers.
