I'll listen to just about everything. I have a low tolerency for music that basically shows no real talent. I especially dislike Indy. Some of it can be catchy but in general it's all the same and chances are by the time I next decide to revamp my profile most of the the big bands around right now will be forgotten.
I love good punk, the sort of punk you got back in the day. Also newer stuff such as Rise Against, A Wilhelm Scream or Anti-Flag.
I also listen a lot of heavy metal. I use that term very generally because I like a lot of different things. Anything from Killswitch Engage to Opeth to Lamb Of God.
I listen to a lot of game music (yes that's right, i'm a geek). Mostly Final Fantasy. But i have an unhealthy obsession with FF and so own lots of stuff, not just music. Some of it is just so brilliant. Nobuo Uematsu will go down in gaming history as one of the great composers.
My favourite bands are Muse, Tenacious D and Rise Against. They are gods. Love them to bits, they inspire me to reach higher levels.
Spiderman 1, 2 & 3 - Only the best god damn superhero ever!
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Not the best storyline ever but what the crap. The fight scenes are jaw dropping.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show - I'm just a sweet transvestite!
Sister Act 1&2 - Nuns singing. What else does a man need i ask?
Rocky I-V - Sylvester Stallone. Beating people up. Enough said.
Arnold Schwarzenegger films - Arnie. Beating people up. I feel like i've said this before... Oh and i've got a collection so buy me Arnie films!
Batman Films - It's all good when the dark knight is involved.
Ghostbusters - Who you gonna call?
The Shawshank Redemption - Really makes you think.
How I Met Your Mother - I'm simply addicted to this, it's the only thing i'll watch. Suit Up!
Scrubs - One of the greatest comedies of this century.
Only Fools And Horses - The greatest British comedy ever. No more need be said. Except that if there's a quiz about OFAH then i'd ace it 100%
Red Dwarf - The 2nd greatest British comedy of all time.
Family Guy - I have an idea. An idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about
House - Oh the drama. (i wish i had a gimpy leg)
Lost - No more until the Spring! I want to know what happens!!
Games:
Final Fantasy - The greatest game series of all time. For so many reasons it still captivates me. It's what drove me to want to make computer games.
Pro Evolution Soccer - I just love football. Period.
Resident Evil - shooting dead guys coming at you with chainsaws! Bliss.
Metal Gear Solid - Tactical Espionage Action!
and many more...
Games I'm Playing Now:
Pro Evolution 6 - Duh!
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary - A brilliant tribute to the classic original.
Certain actors, athletes, musicians and important people in history. Most people say their friends but honestly, have any of your friends ever actually done anything "heroic"? Unless they pulled a little kid out of the way of a bus or flew in from the skies and caught your grandmother as she fell 50ft I highly doubt it.
So here is a few people I admire:
Stan Lee
Jack Kirby
Steve Ditko
Craig Charles
Chris Barrie
Zinedine Zidane
Nobuo Uematsu
Hironobu Sakaguchi
Yoshitaka Amano
Zach Braff
Matt Bellamy
Hugh Laurie
Jack Black
Kyle Gass
Johnny Greenwood
