When I am not writing my goddamned dissertation about queer burlesque, I am going to queer burlesque shows.Most of that is a lie, of course, because what I really spend most of my time doing is hanging out with d Jumbz and all my slacker friends. oh and watching TV on the internet, which WILL be the death of me. Right now, Aggie and I are planning our big! fabulous! adventure! in Turkey. MEOW! Or should I say 'GOBBLE!' No, no I should not.

At the moment, I am on a circus kick. I just finished Water for Elephants. I liked the story, but I wasn't particularly fond of the writing, which I found to be kind of sloppy. And now I'm reading Geek Love, but I keep falling asleep because I only have time to read it right before I go to bed. Well, it's not that I only have time to read it then, but I have to limit myself to that because I have developed my mother's reading addiction wherein I am physically incapable of putting down a novel once I start reading it. If only that were the case with the crap I need to read for my dissertation.
