The story of this band started when guitarist Jacopo and voice giordano decide to form a band influenced with the speed violence of Italian hardcore like impact and cripple bastards and later by the early listenings of grindcore bands like napalm death over all…
It was 2005 and as a little joke they called with them paolo for the drums (already playin with giordi in the hardcore outfit humus ) and ketch for the bass.
The original intent of the band was playin fast Italian trash of few seconds and a kind of extreme grindcore..noise like some early stuff of cripple and also made songs with three chords ala doom…
In this period they were calling themselves VIOLENT SHIT…it was just shit at the time…
Was a real fun because they rehearsed very further from each other and make their own songs that weren’t so shittest…
Change of rehearsal place and change of name (another Italian band used VIOLENT SHIT) make them more serious into a mix of hardcore grind that was more structured and fuckin killer ….
Their influences those days were very large from grind to death and crust for sure!
Lyrics were and are written most from giordi and they are about life in general, hate, incompatibility with others, death wishes, anti-slavery,paranoia,hate,depression, death and despair…
So it’s passed a year when was recorded in January 2006 a rehearsal tape with the stuff of the period…
After almost a year some style changes comes like the interest of reduce the hardcore influence and keep on with grind. A demo was recorded the black house and this was the first studio experience and the only stuff that coprofagia has officially "released"…
Even the gig activity was very good… they played in lots of local festivals and in other places like la scintilla squat in modena, prato, formia, and the cervello okupato squat supporting the swedish WARCOLLAPSE.
It’s passed another year now and the band are waiting to record the “new†songs more fast and more heavy than never before.
They are still playing, still rehearsing well and in the beginning of the new year they surely will record something new…
