Biography
Katro Sixteen, DJ, remixer and producer. Born in Korça on January 16th 1988.
He began showing intres in music in his early 13s, ispirated form his part time job in a radio station. At first he mixed some famous songs of the time, but with the discovery of amatour and semiprofessional programs he began to produce his own songs, which were very original and fresh for the time in Albania. Later on he began to play in small clubs and mix house and dance music.
His first songs "In The White City" and "The Return Of The Sound" are very experimental and approach to Techno music. His first productions were appreciated from techno fans. Over the years he has experimented in different genres, from drum&bass to minimal where he discovered his passion. He is one of the first minimal Djs in Albania, even though this genre is not very popular. 2007 was a very sucesfull year for Dj Katro. His best product of this prosperous year was the remix of Depeche Modes's "I Feel Loved". The remix was a real succes and as the artist says: "The best I've ever done". He experimented in electro house, electro, minimal, tech house in 2007 and some of the best products of these experiments are: "Mini People", "Bluetooth", "Minisystem" and "10 seconds".
During the latest years he has been fully integrated in greek and albanian night clubs. 2007 was also the year of Elektroluvers. A group of 4 Djs where Dj Katro were the initator. The other Elektroluvers are Krist DJ, Sebo Gressive and Clydee J. The Elektroluvers have been very active in Tiranas night clubs with their "very special" Slut Mission. Slut Mission is a chain of crazy, funny and "elektrolovers only" parties. This year Dj Katro and some of the Electroluvers has worked very hard on some fresh productions.
