Music has always been the heartbeat of Sandi Padilla. She began singing at an early age and began writing songs and singing at churches regularly by the age of 13. Sandi attended Biola University and Sacramento State University where she was an applied voice major. Her songwriting talent blossomed when she won a local songwriting competition and one of her songs was picked up by producer Phil Sillas for a project he was working on. She continued performing and producing her music as the lead singer of Sacramento band "Threshing Floor" which showcased in Nashville, TN for the Gospel Music Association.
Sandi’s songs have been described as "melodic, thoughtful and transparent". In 2007, her single "Arms of Love" was released on the compliation CD "The Spirit of Adoption" with veterans Steven Curtis Chapman, Rita Springer and Geoff Moore. With seven albums under her belt, Sandi anticipates more projects to come. In the meantime, she keeps busy teaching voice and producing demo projects for singer/songwriters. You can also find her playing Bass for the "No Man’s Band", and leading worship at retreats & women’s events. If you’d like to contact Sandi drop her a line at [email protected]
