For months I thought I was going insane
Eventhough nothing in my life had really changed.
My mind was always constantly wondering
But I did not know where it was going.
So I ran away to gather my thoughts
I almost got away but then I was caught.
God stopped me in my tracks and asked what I was doing
I told Him I don't know but I feel like there is something I should be pursuing.
He sat me in a corner and made me be quiet
Until I remembered my gift He gave to me and I could no longer deny it.
I started to see the power in words
The strength in vision giving life to thoughts unheard.
To make a single thought captivate so many minds
To put notions to rest to create memories in time.
So here I am putting everything in writing
