Although I am happily married, I miss the dating days for the sheer excitement of meeting someone new. People are interesting and I love to learn about different cultures, lifestyles, beliefs, and values. If you have something interesting to say, drop me a line.
Music:
I love rock and roll baby! I can't get away from my latin roots though and enjoy anything with a good beat.
Movies:
Has any one in my generation ever seen "Harold and Maude?" It really was the best. I love action movies, sci-fi (Star Wars anyone?). There are a couple of chick flicks i like but don't let that get around... Comedies are cool but I am kind of particular about the comedies i like.
Television:
I don't follow the crowd on this. I watch sitcoms. I don't like reality television and even though I would like to watch some of the current programing, I always manage to miss the new shows. I rarely miss a re-run of Everybody loves Raymond or Friends and I have been known to watch The Golden Girls from time to time... Sad but true.
Books:
Stephen King is a freak!!!! Thats why I love him. I am far too nervous of a person to watch scary movies but boy do enjoy a good spook. Anyone ever read the "Bachman Books". Steven King's early works under a pseudonym.
Heroes:
My mom. I guess that's what everyone says and I am no different. She came to this country with very little. She has been through more than anyone should have to and yet she managed to single handedly raise two daughters, own a home, and continue to help my sister and me in our times of tribulation. My husband, for fighting for this country, risking everything, and still comes home to face ME willingly. Now thats courage. All joking aside, He is a sweet husband and a devoted father.
