Stop. Do not pass go or attempt to use the lift in event of a fire. Break glass and adopt brace position on the captain's instructions. May contain nuts.
Isn't that the kinda tosh people write on these things? Oh well. Never one to let the side down, although I tend to strike out on my own rather than follow the crowd. Oh ok, I'm stubbornly independent, but in a social way. It's not all meals-for-one, five-knuckle-shuffles and grandstand solitaire you know. I go to a lot of gigs and nights about Manchester, it's just a shame I can't get to everything, but I do try. I love nights where you see a band at one venue, go to a club night at another then end up in a seedy bar/pub until the early hours with no care for the morning. Smoking too much, drinking too, not eating my greens - it's all gonna kick in one day, and my body will chuck me out and change the locks; but denial is a warm place.
Clothes are good. I have so many ties, my bedroom sometimes feels like the Temple of Doom (minus the sweaty Harrison Ford, sadly). Shoes are better. In fact, they literally kick arse. I'd like think I wasn't shallow enough to pity someone who is poorly shod; but denial smells of damask roses.
I do many things in life. Mainly because I've an active mind and an even more active dislike of TV. I'm a musician (classical), radio producer, (non) dj/promoter, web designer, amateur linguist, and apparently I've got a full-time job. There's lots more I'd like to do, like learn funk bass, have another stab at Mandarin, write, take singing lessons, do some bleedin' exercise (that I enjoy, apart from sex), and live in a 101 different places. And you know what? I'm gonna have a damn fine time trying to do all of those things and more!
I like:
People who do
People who have spirit
People who have values beyond the selfish ones
People who can tell me to shut up when I sound like a prick (see above)
Radio 4 / 6music
I don't like:
Moaners
Emotional sponge(r)s
Bad grammar
Long lists
