Christian Myspace Layouts - Salvation MySpace Layouts Christian Myspace LayoutsTHE PLAN AND PRAYER OF SALVATION(ROMANS 10:8-13)By the Grace of God, I am a Minister of His Glorious Gospel. Having gone through much in life during my trajectory as a Christian, it has pleased the Lord to use my experiences to mold me and to call me to a ministry of Restoration & Inner Healing that is accomplished by the means of an active ministry that involves preaching, conferences, seminary teaching and counseling. Although I had been involved in ministry for a number of years, in 2001 I witnessed the most devastating attack of terrorism on American soil, when I survived the attack on the World Trade Center (as I was employed by a firm that was located at the towers). In the aftermath, as I wept in pain for the many lives lost and those affected, I decided to immediately go to "Ground Zero". As I stood in pain in front of more than 1 billion tons of debris, the Lord ministered this verse to me: "And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations" (Isaiah 61:4). I understood that this picture mirrored the "ruins" of humanity and that the Lord wanted me to concentrate on ministering to the hurting and devastated, both unsaved, and within the body of Christ, a message of restoration and healing. Hence the ministry "Restoring the Ruins" ("Restaurando Las Ruinas") was born.I pray that HE will use this page for that very purpose. To minister to the downcast, to the hurting masses, a word of encouragement. That those who need salvation, healing or restoration, in some way, form or fashion, may find a glimpse of it on this page. Feel free to contact me for counseling, prayer, or speaking engagements. You may also contact me for referrals to ministries or agencies that provide holistic therapy or social services. To my brethren: "BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART, ALL YE THAT HOPE IN THE LORD" (PSALM 31:24). My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Friends for fellowship, anyone that needs to be ministered in the area of restoration and inner healing, and ministries that are interested in networking for the purpose of preaching Christ and reaching out to help others. GOD'S GRACE IS "AMAZING"

WHAT ABOUT RESTORING THE FALLEN BROTHER?:

“Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.” (Gal. 6:1-3 NASB)Paul had just spent the majority of his letter passionately reprimanding this Galatian church for allowing the Judaizers, a sect of “Jewish Christians” who taught that salvation comes only with circumcision, to undermine the Gospel of grace, which he had taught when he was present with them. He explained that Christ’s salvation is a gift of His grace, which is not dependent upon the religious works of men. However, knowing the tendency of human nature to flee from one extreme to adopt the other, Paul states that Christ’s freedom does not infer succumbing to carnality either.“For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh…” (5:13)Following this statement, Paul details the difference between a spiritual life of freedom and a life of the flesh (5:20-25). He closes this account with the statement, “Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another,” (vs. 26) to ensure that when one does walk in the spirit, he is not to look down upon those who are not.Now we come to the selected text of chapter 6. The main point of the three verses is verse two, exonerating the believers to bear one another’s burdens according to the law of Christ. The key words of the passage are the following:· “trespass”: paraptoma-to fall beside or near something a lapse or deviation from truth and uprightness a sin, misdeed · “spiritual”: pneumatiko-one who is filled with and governed by the Spirit of God · “restore”: katartizo-ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be · “gentleness”: prautes-mildness of disposition, gentleness of spirit, meekness, consideration, humility · “bear”: bastazo-to sustain, i.e. uphold, support; to take up in order to carry or bear, to put upon one's self (something) to be carried · “burdens”: baros-heaviness, weight, burden, troublePaul is speaking to the Church about how one should “deal” with a brother, who has fallen into sin or is living according to the flesh, as he had described in the previous chapter. Those, who are living according to the Spirit, are not to chide or reject the fallen brother; they are to restore him, strengthen that, which is spiritual within his being. The manner, by which they are to do this, is in the manner of the fruit of the Spirit gentleness (5:23), in a meek and humble spirit, recognizing that they too, are not immune to the carnal nature, as Paul had described in chapter 5:17, 24:“17For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please…24Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”Moreover, the members of the church are exonerated to “bear” or “uphold and take on” the “burdens” or “weights and troubles” of their brethren, for this fulfills/completes the law of Christ, which was detailed also in chapter 5:14:“For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’” (ref. Matt. 22:39; Jn. 15:17)This concept is related to Paul’s description of the body of believers as being apart of the Body of Christ. He wrote to the Corinthian Church a more detailed account of this concept, prohibiting any member to reject another for its weakness or “fallenness”:“But now there are many members, but one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I have no need of you;’ or again the head to the feet, ‘I have no need of you.’ On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary…so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” (1 Cor. 12:20-22; 25-26)All are apart of a body, a family of believers, and all should take the viewpoint to ensure the wholeness and health of all members of the body. Furthermore, Paul denounces any self-righteousness or haughtiness of perspective from the “spiritual” brothers of the Lord, for they too may find themselves in such a predicament, a potentiality that Paul states in another letter:“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” (Rom. 3:23)How is this applied to today? It is not uncommon for Church members of the present day to quickly judge and criticize the fallen among the congregation. Gossip, rejection, and self-righteousness seem to characterize the majority of congregations across the nation today. However, Paul is imploring the Church to reach out to those within her family and restore, not reject, those, who are trapped in carnality, recognizing that no one is invincible to the temptations of the flesh. This fulfills the second Greatest Commandment, and one of the only commandments Christ gave to His disciples:“‘This I command you, that you love one another.’” (Jn. 15:17)If one has fallen, the others who are stronger are to “… to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please (them)selves.” (Rom. 15:1) How does one bear with another? Meeting with them, praying with and for them, counseling them, and walking the road of discipleship, i.e. “doing life” with them, challenging them to put off the old man and put on the new (ref. Eph. 4:22-24). This is fulfilling the law of Christ, to love others as one would have others love them.

THE RESTORATION OF FALLEN LEADERS:

First the bad news. Israel’s King David fell into adultery with Bathsheba, had her husband killed, then took her as his wife (2 Samuel, chapter 11). The apostle Peter denied Jesus, even to the point of calling curses upon himself and swearing, “I don’t know the man!” (Matthew 26:74) John Mark, on a ministry trip with the apostles Paul and Barnabas, abandoned the ministry and his fellow ministers (Acts 13:5,13).Now the good news. King David repented and acknowledged his sin and continued to serve in God’s favor as Israel’s king. To this day, David is considered by many to be Israel’s greatest king. Peter repented, changed his ways, and served for years as a bold apostolic leader in the early church. John Mark came under the caring, restoring oversight of Barnabas and returned to effective ministry. And the Lord granted him the privilege of writing the Gospel of Mark. Now the very good news. Three fallen leaders — an adulterous and violent King David, a Christ-denying apostle Peter, and a ministry-abandoning John Mark — were all restored to places of fruitful ministry. If you are a fallen leader and desire to get back to the Lord and to His service, consider a three-step process drawn from the recovery and restoration of the fallen leaders David, Peter, and John Mark.1) Repentance. King David came to a place of godly sorrow and cried out to the Lord in sincere repentance for his sins: “Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD’ — and you forgave the guilt of my sin” (Psalm 32:5). If Jesus is touching your heart, pour out your sins to Him. He already knows all of them. But He wants you to ask Him for forgiveness — which He will be delighted to give you.2) Turn back to Jesus. The Lord predicted in advance that Peter would deny Him (Luke 22:34). He also foretold Peter’s recovery from that terrible fall — “When you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen and build up the faith of your brothers” (Luke 22:32, Living Bible). Peter did get his eyes and focus back on Jesus. He “turned to [Jesus] again,” and the Lord restored Peter to an outstanding ministry.3) Find a “Barnabas.” In Acts 15:36-40 we read that the apostles Paul and Barnabas had a sharp disagreement over unfaithful John Mark. Because Mark had deserted them in earlier ministry, Paul no longer wanted Mark to accompany him in ministry. Barnabas, though, was of a different persuasion, and he took Mark under his watchful and caring oversight (vs. 39). In the process of time, Mark was restored to effective ministry. Even the previously offended apostle Paul later said, “Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry” (2 Timothy 4:11).Are you a fallen leader? a fallen Christian? a backslider of any sort? There is great hope of restoration and recovery for you! Jesus Christ still has a great future for you. The process is simple. (1) Let godly sorrow bring you to a place of sincere repentance for your sins. Jesus will forgive! (2) Turn back to Jesus with all your heart. He will receive you! And (3) find a “Barnabas” to help you. Ask a godly pastor or elder or mature Christian to help you through your time of recovery. The process will take time, commitment, and a willingness to be teachable and to be corrected. But God will use this biblical process to bring you back to a place of fruitful service to Him.Don’t wait another day! Let your heart be stirred by the Holy Spirit with a godly sorrow for sin. Turn your life back to Jesus and resolve to keep your eyes on Him every day. And find a God-fearing “Barnabas” to mentor you and to walk with you through this exciting turning point in your life.CANSADO? TRAERLE A CRISTO TODAS TUS CARGAS
