What sort of concoction do you get when you throw bass bumping rap, beat driven breakbeat, soulful house, supercharged rock, and melodic trance into a musical blender? You get a horrible tasting milkshake of music, thats what! However when you add just a drop of Sonar , you get the perfect musical mixture that will please the palette of any dancer. Sonar has taken the science of turntablism and the energy from the greatest bands in the world and spun them into an art that gets the crowds on their feet and moving to the rhythms that he creates. Each show is a compelling blend of music that is impulsively driven by Sonars intuition. There are no pre-determined sets like other DJs or a certain song he is spinning this time. Just pure aural surrender. Sonar is no stranger to the wheels of steel. He has been winning various DJ competions since the age of fourteen. He has played in countless clubs across the United States, and has made guest appearances on radio mix shows on such stations as WZFX Foxy99, and 94.1 The Beat. In addition to the live performing, Sonar also produces music for artists, music labels and DJs. He has produced over 37 hours of remixes by major artists leaving no genre untouched; from Van Morrison to Van Halen, from Madonna to Mobb Deep. In addition to the remixes, Sonar has produced over 14 hours of original material from classical to progressive trance. This selection guarantees an original show each and everytime.
