I do not see the point in reading for any other purpose than learning. Why waste time reading about some experience, fictional or not, when you can go out and live that experience yourself. I am more of a newspaper and magazine person: Men's Health, TIME, Newsweek, Wired, Transworld Snowboarding, National Geographic, Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, etc.
