Lowsalt is a Glasgow based non-profit artist run project. A travelling organisation, which occupies alternative spaces nationally, and internationally providing opportunities for artists, to produce and exhibit their work within a free and professional environment. With an essential focus on creativity and experimentation, Lowsalt aims to facilitate many creative identities across a broad range of disciplines. Functioning on the basis of ‘self organisation’, we encourage artists to take greater control of the infrastructure and context of each project.
