Hey guys. I'm trying to be more active in my search for old friends whom I've become disconnected- so anyone who remembers me from the past send me a line or two. After Shawnee High, I went on to McMurry University. I graduated in a little over 3 years and am now involved in retail management. I'm not as athletic as I used to be- after I quit sports my senior year of High School, I also quit working out and thouroughly enjoyed becomming a lazyass. I met my husband at McMurry and we married on our three year aniversary- Nov 1st of '04. Those of you that knew me in HS probably thought that I would never get married huh? Anyway- no kids in the future- that point of view is still the same. I'd rather be a cool aunt- "spoil the kids rotten and then ship them back when they're bad." I guess I've changed a lot since the last time I saw some people. Anyway, can't think of anything important to say here- what else could you want to know? Send me a line or two and I'll put the answer up here.

My Interests

SimonI like going to the gym when possible- not by myself though, I just am not motivated unless someone is beside me egging me on. I still like to write but it seems that with work I never get the time. I'm a closet real estate freak- I love looking at houseplans/houses for sale/seeing what you can get for the money in different parts of town/etc. Outside of these things I like to hang out with friends, go window shopping, browse on the internet, and take full advantage of both netflix and gamefly memberships.

I'd like to meet:

On myspace- I'd like to run across some profiles of old friends- Tiff or 'Kida would be a good start. In life I would like to meet:/ music: alanis, gwen, and fiona/ politics: hillary, howard, others/ spirits: kurt, diana, others/ those are the people that come to mind first.

Music:

Same as always- female angst rock, alt rock, and any music where I look past the catchy tune and take time to listen to the words- music with a message or story that is something that I agree with/ feel for/ or have lived through.

Movies:

If I'm watching with my husband it's usually action or drama unless I can talk him into watching a chick flick. My movie choices vary I like lesser known movies or foreign or independant films more often than not. Sometimes though I get a chick flick- if I'm in a girly mood. Anything View/New Askew or Audrey Tattou is good in my book.

Television:

I'm a constant channel flipper- there are a few shows that I stop flipping for if there on: The L Word (Sara Shahi needs to come back next year/ Jennifer Beals kicks ass), The O.C. (I don't even know why I watch- it's the gen y's Dawson's Creek), E.R. (why is it that keira knightly gets the movie roles and the true star of Bend it Like Beckem is stuck on T.V. on a dying show?), Gilmore Girls (again I don't know why- don't laugh at me), and I don't know what other shows?.. ".. ".. "

Books:

I'd rather write than read- maybe I'll put some of my stuff on here one day?

Heroes:

Anyone celebrity or not that speaks their mind, sticks to their convictions and is not afraid to be themselves no matter the fallout or consequences.
