The Omavi Clothing Company was established in 1995 in an attempt to break out of the traditional mold that defines “Urban Fashionâ€. The line is stylish, easy to wear and very versatile and is noticeably a cut above the industry standards for quality and workmanship.
OMAVI is a Swahili word that means “the highestâ€. When applied to our line, it symbolizes the highest or the best in every stage of the design process from the initial concept to the final product.
Our slogan goes: “Denim dreams are made of these….†and OMAVI produces the finest quality denim jeans and jackets on the market today. That same quality and skill is also used in making stylish cotton tees, blended sweats and wovens, and exceptional quality leather jackets. The newest addition to our line is the Deluxe Fit or Red Label jean which is a departure from our traditional baggy, more urban fitting jeans. OMAVI Deluxe has a slightly slimmer cut and aligns itself with the look and feel of premium denim. In the spring of ’06 we also introduced our OMAVI Kids line to rave reviews.
