BIOGRAFIA:Roby nasce a Roma il 18 agosto 1976, inizia a studiare pianoforte all’età di sei anni, a dieci anni la sua prima tastiera elettornica, una vecchissima Yamaha PSR-60 con la quale si diverte a comporre le prime canzoncine a 4 tracce (ok, tutti i sequencer “casalinghi†negli anni ’80 non erano il massimo…).
Durante il liceo suona con diversi gruppi locali e gira un po’ tutti i locali dei castelli romani proponendo cover e brani propri. Con lo sviluppo dei pc e delle loro applicazioni MIDI escono i primi lavori strumentali da solista. Gli ambienti di lavoro preferiti erano e sono tutt’ora quelli di Cubase e dei sistemi operativi Windows.
Nel 1999 si trasferisce con la famiglia a Lugano (Svizzera) dove vive ancora adesso e dove continua l’attività di produzione musicale.
Nel 2000 inizia la collaborazione con i "Jolly’s Joke" (rock band locale) con la quale cura le tastiere e gli arrangiamenti elettronici del loro primo album e con i quali collaborerà fino al 2003 scrivendo e arrangiando nuovi brani.
Nell’estate del 2002 Roby si avvicina alla musica pop/dance scrivendo, producendo e registrando nello studio di Lugano 7 canzoni con Susy Wender, cantante italo tedesca con alle spalle un disco prodotto da RTI.
Dal 2003 Roby è il tastierista di Simone Tomassini e coautore insieme a lui della musica di alcuni brani.
Oggi continua a pieno regime l’attività di produttore e arrangiatore di brani di diversi generi, nonché la collaborazione con Simone sia in studio che nei live. Per ascoltare gli ultimi lavori di musica elettronica cliccare sul player qui sotto...

BIO: Roby was born on the 18th august 1976 in Rome, and starts to study piano at the age of 6.
At 10 years old his parents brought for him his first electronic keyboard, a Yahama PSR-60 with wich he started to produce his first songs made by 4 tracks (home sequencers in 80s were very simple…).
During high school he plays with several local grups in different clubs playing covers and own songs. With computers development and their MIDI applications Roby produced his first album. He worked and works until today using Cubase and Windows operating systems.
In 1999 he moved to Lugano (Switzerland) with his family where now he lives and goes on with his musical activity.
In 2000 he starts the collaboration with “Jolly’s Joke†(local rock band): his role is computer programming and keyboard player in their albums until 2003.
In summer of 2002 Roby starts to arrange and produce in his own studio in Lugano songs with Susy Wender, pop/dance singer who made an album edited by RTI.
Since 2003 Roby is Simone Tomassini’s keyboardist and programmer and he write music of some Simone’s songs.
