I am single! I recently moved from Vancouver to Winnipeg 2 years ago and lets say its been a gay culture shock. Why Winnipeg? Well my partner and I of seven years broke up and I came home to make a new start in our fabulous city. I have been adjusting to the type of city Winnipeg has become and for the most part It's good to be home but then sometimes I miss Vancouver with the charm and of course the West End. It's been a growing experience being at home. When years being in a partnership we sometimes forget who we are and become what are partners want of us to become. If that makes sense? Now for my fresh new start I've done something that I wanted to do and that was to finish school at the University of Manitoba. I'm hoping that with my fab grades that I'll be attending business school next fall. I'm finally doing something that is for me and no one else. Let's say its always been about my partners and never about me. End of that chapter and that part of my life now on to better and bigger things ;) What I'm looking for is the ultimate question isn't it. I'm really looking to meet a good bunch of friends that I could hang with. If a partner comes along then who knows but as for right now It's all about me. And Anderson Cooper well then I would need to date him. LOL. Being in relationships since I've came out has given me an insight of what I really want in a man. I've been thinking about what I'm looking for in a partner and if I was going to find Mr. Right(Anderson Cooper) instead of MR. RIGHT NOW. LOL. My type of guy would be clean cut, normal (if that really exists), good sense of who they are as a person, someone that is comfortable with there sexuality and not afraid to show it. A caring individual that communicates and doesn't keep things inside till they blow up. I also love long walks on the beach and sunsets. I know call me a typical but that's what I like. LOL!
