Old crappy scifi's MST3k is a very good resource for early science fiction. Gangster movies, Marlon Brando's movies. East of Eden starring James Dean. Newer movies what seems to strike my fancy at the time. Enjoy some comedies as well. Dumb and Dumber. Stealing Harvard.
TLC, Spike TV when there is something good on. Like improvement shows. Building things.
Design stuff of course, Advertising major, loves vintage design 20's through 60's. Surf Design is pretty cool. Very visual learning oriented.
Spider-man grew up drawing comics. Batman was kind of cool to. Ancient Greek Myth is pretty cool. My bigges hero is my mom who passed away from brain cancer this last year after 12 yrs of fighting. She had even been in remission once for 8 yrs. The most strong, and careing woman I ever knew.
