This gal from the backwoods of North Carolina has become an Texas transplant in the city of Austin. I've been very fortune to teach band here and am currently working as the Assistant to the Director of Bands at The University of Texas. I have been able to go on many awesome trips, including Rose Bowl 2006 and really love my job!! My husband is finishing up his DMA and next year we will go wherever he finds a job. Scary but it will be great. We are very much enjoying our time here in Austin with our two pugs, Nelly and Jofu.
