The Free Range Short Film Competition is your chance to express yourself on Melbourne’s own community television station – Channel 31.
It is a competition for everyone with a passion for film, freedom of speech, and expression with no limitation.
The competition aims to provide film-makers with an opportunity to express their talents and even have their film broadcast on Channel 31.
You could win some fantastic prizes in the process.
The Free Range Short Film Competition is open to individuals and community groups.
Competition Details:
The Free Range Short Film Competition is an initiative of the Free Range TV and Northern Access Television (NAT) to encourage self-expression through community media.
Entrants are required to produce a 30 second clip to capture the buzz in their head, their home, their suburb, their city.
Entries are open to a variety of styles including teasers, trailers, infommercials, commercials, documentary, animation, Vox Pops, or any other creative style.
Extended deadline 6th of June!A selection of the most interesting entries will be screened on Channel 31. A public screening of a selection of entries will be held at the Noise Bar in Brunswick on Tuesday 10th June, doors open at 7pm, screening starts at 7:30pm. The film night will also be streamed live from the Free Range Website for International and Interstate entrants
Not only that but running up to the screening night after the entry deadline has closed we will be running the people's choice awards on YouTube.
