Guitarist for former band "Letters to Cleo", Greg McKenna, had some songs lying around. One day he said to himself, "What am I going to do with these songs?". Well, he decided to make an album out of them! So he went into the studio with the help of his friends from such bands as "the Gentlemen", "the Swinging Steaks", "the Bleedin Bleedins" and former bandmates from Letters to Cleo along with family, friends and anyone unlucky enough that happened to be in the wrong place at the right time! He was able to get 9 tracks down over 3 years.
After finally completing it, he christened it "St. Jude's Revenge" (after the patron saint of lost causes) and unleashed it to the public. A mixture of rock, pop and anything else that sounded good (try to figure out who played the sleigh bells on "She Said"), SJR defines the category of "kocpop"!
