Born in Japan. Austrian father and Japanese mother.
Moved to U.S in her teenage years,finished high school,college,and Masters.
Again moved east,to London. Now KIO lives in Berlin.KIO started playing the violin at age of 4. As she was growing up played with both of her parents,who are pianists.
